The 2011–2016 LML Duramax does not come equipped with a factory lift pump. That means the CP4 injection pump is forced to pull fuel under vacuum, adding stress to the system and increasing the risk of air entering the fuel supply. A FASS lift pump system solves that by delivering clean fuel at consistent pressure while removing air and water before it reaches your injection system.
