The factory plastic fuel filter cap on the L5P Duramax is known to be weak. It can round off during filter changes and is also prone to cracking in extreme cold weather. This FASS billet cap is the upgrade your truck should’ve come with from the factory.

The FASS Billet Fuel Filter Cap is made in the USA from 6061 billet aluminum and uses the same 36mm socket as OEM for removal. It also features a billet aluminum drain valve that allows for quick, tool-free draining.
